Which is going to be better for me

The older MTX 7500 2 12's dual 4ohm

or

MTX TR75 2 12's dual 4ohm

IMHO

the new MTX TR Subs look a bit cheap .. BUT looks are deceiving!

and I had 2 5500's 12 inch and one had a smokey death last night

the amp powering the speakers will be a Kicker ZX 750.1

tr7512.. however that amp wont give even close to enough power to make 2 of them get loud... need atleast a 1kw amp for that.. sell that 750.1 and get like an aq1200d or somethin.. their only 249shipped on their site.. and get 2 dual 4 ohm mtx tr7512 subs

Jus got a TR7512-44 in on Friday. Weighs about 20 lbs. Tinsel leads are stitched into the spider and are 10 or 8 awg wire. Cone is made of aluminum, basket is what seems to be cast out of steel. Has rubber magnet boot. It really looks like it can do some damage. Havent make a box for it yet. If Ive done my math right my sealed enclosure should hit some pretty good lows. Im lookin for a spring effect somewhere between stiff and soft and I think I may have hit the sweet spot.
