MTX 1501 Question!?

Hey guys, i got this Amp MTX 1501 and i was wondering if any of you have it at 1 OHM load cuzz i konw this amp is stable at 2 OHMs but if i had it goin at 1 OHm would it fry? or ?? anyone can give me a suggestion here? :stuck:

Im shure it would get hotter than a mother ████er at 1 ohm tho.

Ive heard those amps get really hot.

if you decide to run it at 1 ohm ......let me know what happens .....I'm too afraid to run it at 1 ohm..........i have it runnin at 2 ohms of course and that gives me an apt amount of power......and it does get pretty warm ......hopefully you'll get a more direct response from someone else

ive found it(the mtx 1501) on ebay brand new (with excellent feedback from buyers for that particular seller) for i think its buy it now was $ 339 ......im considering buying another one in the future........you have a nice setup thuglord ....have you had ur car metered yet ? If so what did you hit ?

bypass the protection(MOD it) and it should run fine and put out morw power @ 1ohm with adequate voltage.
