Mt15 surround vs 18

i have my 18, now the surround on it is stiff as a mother, now i have my 15 i got form ilaydit, his isnt nearly as stiff, i would say the same as my 15XXX was, because i can poke it down, i can budge the 18s down

is it just a different one they do for 18" subs? or what, anyone comment on this

it dosent matter i just wanted to know why

any idea why surround on 15 is different than 18?

the surround on the 18 is a beast...the 12's and 15's will rip loose from the basket under extreme use...as in Super Street use...but the 18's won't. probably my favorite sub of all time
