The most difficult part of rebuilding drivers I think is getting the tinsel leads the right length. I doubt the compeitors worry about this since they don't care if it slaps the cone. They just make them long enough that they don't break. So for them, I would think the hardest part is stripping off the spider landing and surround landing.

I usually just use a carpenters knife with a new blade, and be careful. But some of those glues used over the years are pretty tough to remove.

You should get it with the cone and all...then fiberglass the rear of the cone to re-inforce it. ...that'd be PIMP!!!
