Ok during my search for a recone for my Mt because the rip is ugly and i wanna gonna recone to make it look better anyway back to the question i heard that i can recone my mt to a btl

no but you can use Fi softparts for it.......

X2. The MT gap is tighter than the BTL's. But they have soft parts and coils that will fit the MT.

No you cant turn it into a btl, the btl coil will not fit in the gap of the mt. The spiders are pretty much the same on the btl and the mt. The biggest noticable difference is the surround/cone. I had a 18" mt and a 18" mt reconed with BTL parts ( with a MT voice coil ) at the same time, the cone is MUCH thicker on the BTL surround and the cone was noticabily thicker

Scott has sent me a mt recone. I loved it. Cone is much stronger than a mt cone.
