UPDATE!!!! It's been a while but i finally shipped out my motor to RE. The same day they got it, they shipped me out a brand new motor and basket! I reconed it yesterday and tested it this morning, works like a champ.

It only cost me 100 bucks and yeah it's a pretty small lip.

the $100 was supposed to be the price to fix it, but they called and said they didn't want to mess with it. That's a hell of a deal.
