Whats up guys. I'm looking for either 1 or 2 amps to push 2 dual 2 15" MT's for a really loud/decent sounding daily setup. On a student budget. I was thinking 2 Sundown 1500's but I'm not sure if that will be enough to get them to start wanging really hard or not when I feel like cranking it. I like my music loud, but I'm smart w/ the volume but love to show off. LMk what you would recommend.

Looking around 600 for budget give or take.

i got quad stiff spiders on my dual 2 MT 15s and the mm3000.1 lets them beat pretty **** good at .5ohm... ~1500w a piece is plenty enough to get them movin...

wire them to 2 ohm, get an MM4000.1D and call it a day //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif if u dont mind buying a refurb or used, u can get an mm4000 for between $500-$600

Yea, I was looking into the MM4k... I've got all the time in the world to get this setup going to I just want to make sure that I do this right the first time. Grass-roots, do you have any vids of your mt's?

werd....

1500w will get those mt's moving, but youll want at LEAST 2kw to 2.5kw to get em to shine. the autotek is a good bet. Also keep your eyes peeled for mojo 4kw's.....a mojo would do those mt's justice

Mojo for $600 though? That would be gone in a heartbeat //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

Well for right now I'm only going to be running the 1 MT so I'm just looking for something to push the single sub to make it shine. So for right now, I'm looking for something between 2k-3k rms to push this sub. It's a dual 1.4 and I'm looking to spend 300-400 on the amp. Less is better though and I don't mind going used

I got a brand new one for 465 and a refurb for just over 500

No need to bypass the amp. Most use an LOC that takes the full amped signal and turns it into a flat RCA level signal. Here is the newest I have...

It would also be easy to add an equalizer to have individual rca inputs for all of the channels. A decent one can be had for less than $40...
