Mq Quart Vs. Image Dynamics 12 Inch Subs

can someone please give me some advice between this sub http://www.woofersetc.com/p8143/REFT...-Subwoofer.htm or http://www.woofersetc.com/p3415/RWE3...-Subwoofer.htm and my amp is 4 ohm so what sub would i need 2 ohm or 4 ohm? im trying to order these subs by tonight for Christmas thanks.i have a power acoustic 1000 watt amp. and a pioneer deh 4100ub head unit. im gonna either be putting them in a sealed dual 12 inch box or maybe ill get one sub and put it in my ported 12 inch box. let me know

amps are not a certain ohm. they are stable at certain ohms. most are stable at 4 ohm and 2 ohm. some down to 1 ohm.

are you saying yours is only stable to 4 ohm and not any lower?

2 DVC 2 ohm woofers will wire to equal a total ohm load of 2 ohms to your amp.

2 DVc 4 ohm can be wired down to 1 ohm.

ok well until i can afford a new amp thats what im gonna be stuck with. i want the subs though

do everyone a favor and learn something. then save up and buy real equipment

For that amp I'd get two of the ID's, run it bridged.

When you upgrade the amp look for something in the range of 750-1000w rms at 1 ohm.
