320 kbit/s is an MP3, compressed audio. Audio stored on CD's is not compressed and has a bit rate of 1,411.2 kbit/s. 320 is the highest standardized bit rate for MP3's though, so it's often equated to being the same as CD quality.Since when are cd's not 320kpbs?
I remember back in the Napster days when people claimed 128 kbit/s was CD quality, that's quite amusing by today's standards.
