Mp3 DVD?

Is it possible to burn mp3's on to a DVD-R and be able to play it in most mp3 ready HU? Or will I need a DVD HU?

No, you need a DVD headunit. A CD laser lens cannot read a DVD or else you would be able to put a DVD in your HU and hear DVDaudio.

There are head units that support DVD-MP3 and DVD-Audio, I was looking at the new Alpine AV head units earlier today.

You'd burn them as data on a blank dvd.

the dvd playe rhas to be able tp support the dvd-mp3 format not all dvd players will play the mp3 dvds.

Ok thanks everyone, I will let you all know when I find one. Odds are I will probably get a cheap one, cuz I have a cheap cd player and it's good enough for me, still plays (lasting longer than I thought)
