I just took a promotion and was asked to relocate from Philadelphia to the Baltimore area. I have only been there a handful of times, but that was over 15 years ago, so I have no knowledge of the area. The next couple of months we will be taking weekend trips to check out the area. We wont have to relocate until summer time.

My office is now in Columbia, MD and my girl would be traveling to work in the western part of Baltimore as her territory. We are looking for a common middle ground to ease both of our commutes.

The plan is to rent a place for the first year to get a feel for the area before we decide to purchase. A nice townhouse with access to area attractions would be ideal. Any advise on where we should start looking???

Also down the road we have been looking at new constructions in the Severna park and Pasadena areas. Can't tell much about the area online, how do these places look?

Thanks for any input!

There are alot of nice areas but just like everywhere you have the bad as well. I live in Dundalk which isnt labelled as the best area but i havent had any problems and its convenient to everything. Where exacly will your better half work?

You should just live in Columbia, if its in your price range. Elkridge, columbia, jessup, severn. Are yo ulooking for an apt or house or what?

Looking to get into a townhouse to start/get familiar with the area. We are in our mid-twenties and are looking for an area that is young and has a good social scene. We have lived in the city for the past couple years (philly, wilmington) and are through with that.

We travel to Dewey Beach on summer weekends and like to travel, so access to major roads would be a plus too.

So far we have liked what we've heard about southwest and southeast of the city. Are the areas of Columbia, Ellicot City, and Elkridge enough to fit the bill?

Thanks for the info keep it coming!

Southwest and southeast like where? Names of the areas I mean. Yes, it will fit, I believe. And if it doesnt you can always drive to all the places in Bmore, I just wouldnt want to live there. I have before and I dont like it, but living in columbia and going there if I want was always better. Ellicott city, didnt even think about that, but yes thats actually a good choice. Kinda in the middle of both, a little cheaper to live in.

I have lived in severna park my whole life and i think its a great area. There have also been a lot of new constructions in the area. My neighborhood which is not very old but has been there for a while is even having new construction now. One of my best friends also lives in pasadena, again i think its a good area but he does live in one of the rich parts. Also, if u have kids Severna Park high school is a good school.

I have heard and read some great things about Columbia, MD....I also know there is Columbia Assoc. dues. Does anyone know what they are and what they cover?

one time I was walking from the inner harbor with my girl ad a limo full of girls came to a stop light, they were yelling so I flipped my dick out at them and their whole car got quiet, guess cause its little //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

one time some stupid member on the forum was so obsessed with me that they continually came into all my threads proclaiming how stupid they and i were. Ignoring my pointing out they kept coming back they continued their e-stalking. i finally decided they were in love with me but couldn't admit to their homosexuality.

I finally just gave them what they were too afraid to ask for, but apparently really wanted. I messaged them a picture of my dick with a message saying "haha i made you look".

They haven't bothered me since.

Moral of the story, flashing some idiot your dick usually shuts them the fuk up.
