Moving to Alaska?

Earth is more resistant to climate changes on this scale than we think. Plants and animals will adapt to subtle shifts in weather patterns, and it is unlikely anything catastrophic will happen as a result of global warming. The earth's climate and temperature has been alternating between getting warmer and colder since the beginning of the earth this change and weather is natural, the impact we have is minuscule, even scientists say more time and research is needed because they still have not found any conclusive data. Global warming is just another tool for the liberal agenda to get what they want.
What is more damaging is from all the businesses we lose from emissions limits. Factories are all gone and bullied off by the EPA and jobs are suffering because of it. I know first hand when I used to intern for a state senator's office, he was trying to pass some bills alleviating some of the financial burdens factories face when trying to comply with emissions standards upon start up. This is to bring back some business back in California and there were a few factories lined up ready to hire American skilled workers. However, the bill quickly got shut down from heavy opposition by environmental liberals.

Hell, even Huy Fong's Sriracha red rooster sauce factory is facing a liberal group trying to shut them down. The guy leading them went to the same high school as the senator I worked for. They hate each other's guts.
Earth = ******

Highly resilient and elastic able to recover from a good beating until it's broken. However once it's broken nobody has any further use for it and become abandoned. At least with a broken vaggy you've got Uranus as a trusty backup. Earth has no such sphincter.

Lulz @ cape cod... Kennedy's republican brother?
We have scientific imperial evidence that the climate is shifting at an accelerated rate. I drive past 3 gas plant refineries to and from work erryday. On days when you have "inversions" here in the valley (SLC) you can literally taste the delicious output in the air if your windows are open.
Actually I haven't lived in Massachusetts for a couple years now. Apart from the fishing and a couple restaurants I don't miss it.

How does your "accelerated shifting" climate evidence explain ice ages? In terms of global weather patterns (which are primarily a function of solar activity) we have far too little actual data on which to base any conclusions. Give it a few thousand years of accurate records and I might believe a trend.

Have you heard of "climate gate"? You know where the climate change "scientists" fudged, ignored, and made up data to prove what they were being paid to prove? Have you ever heard the phrase "he who pays the piper picks the tune"?

Yeah, the Earth is going to break from people. I think you don't have any appreciation for how big the planet actually is and how insignificant a fraction of the overall system humans play.

I have a great appreciation for how vast the earth is but I also have a rational understanding of the impact that humans play. We are like locusts like termites and just reproduce eat and blow crap up.

We've removed mountains and dug 3 mile holes into the group that are 5 miles wide. I'd say we can have a pretty significant impact when we try.

Speak for yourself.. or better yet, put your money where your mouth is and go kill yourself so that you won't continue to hurt your beloved Earth-mother god.

OK, let's examine this. A 5 mile diameter hole has an area of appx 20 square miles. Let's compare that to the nearly 200 MILLION square miles of Earth's surface. We just ***** .00000001% of your beloved mother goddess.

Or the 3 mile deep hole.... into a sphere with a 4000 mile radius. I repeat, you have a poor concept of the scale involved.

only significance trash/pollution/oil drilling has is if it leaks and poisons our ground water reserves. The one thing that can definitely kill us is the loss of our water supply which is getting lower and not replenishing nearly as fast enough. We need to keep holding out until we find a more efficient way of converting sea water to drinkable water and not be stupid enough to sh*t where we drink.

I'm sure this just makes you cry
