the worst is dishes. I have lived in a few different houses, with a few different people, and dishes are always what people bitch about. figure that out first, and it's all good (as long as your roommate can pay the rent).
use paper/plastic utensil's and dishes
Make sure you have heat!!! We gets no heat at our place! (The minimum is 68 degrees...and that's what we are at...but 68 is pretty cold!)

yeah get a good bankroll goin while your still at home, so you can buy stuff for you pad...and set aside 200$ to stock it with plenty of food(canned goods and ramen and shit) for "emergencies"
