Just got home from it...

I got teary eyed at the end. I could write a diatribe about why but it boils down to:

As future military, I can only dream for the courage and determination they had. To look imminent and inevitable death square in the eye and stand fast takes an unimaginable amount of courage, dedication and outright guts and balls. And in today's battles, I know our soldiers don't receive the gratitude and thanks they deserve and its just a shame. They represent a small fraction of this country's population but give their lives defending the rights of the millions of unknown faces...

just got back from this moive.

it kicked *******. the camera angles were great, the action scenes were fu
not those frantic choppy scenes like in troy, nice smooth slow motion cuttin heads. but the story line that built the characters that was still there. everything nessicary for the movie was there. and nothing that did not have to be there wasted any time.

was just a great flick.

Was supposed to see it yesterday, but of course didnt get out of the doctors office early enough to go see it. So hopefully tonight, if not then next week for sure. Maybe it wont be so packed. Hell, I just will go next week.

Just curious, what movies earn a A+ in your book?

The ending could have been portrayed a little bit differently. If you are going to have your hero get murdered in the movie, at least show the battle that avenged his death. Also, the only movies I have ever given an A+ to are:

Bruce Lee (Enter the Dragon)

Russell Crow (Gladiator)

Tom Hanks (The Green Mile)
