Mounts for 4x6's to 6.5

I never thought about trimming the metal, dont really understand. I have 3/4 inch MDF mount to mount to the door, but when my window is rolled down there is very little space between window and door. And since the RsD's are wide, it will not fit. So i have another 3/4 inch piece over that, but then the problem im afraid will happen is it will be out too far and the panel wont go on, even after cutting hole in door panel for speaker.

chevys are horrible for front depth it takes major mods to do it right but it needs to match the angle of the factory 4x6 plastic plate. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif i make them for 45$ a pair

it takes me about 4 hours or so to do a set thats actually pretty cheap lolz the idea is using an angle cut not many people have a 12" table saw that will do that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but a cheap 30$ harbor freight belt sander would do it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif hint hint lol
