I've had hifonics, tsunami, and xtant amps that didn't have mounting feet before this one (swiss audio). the hifonics and tsunami were easily L-bracketed and the xtant had a weird screw-through design (if you've had the older xtant amps you know what I mean). I just bracketed the amp to death, it was just difficult with where the screws are ON the amp.
PS, I don't think its about whether the amp is a piece of crap or not. All the amps I've had have been strong and did AT LEAST rated power. Its purely a design issue which is always able to get over
