Mounting 6.5's in the center above the *****.

So ive only got 2 6.5's and tweets up front rite now, and with 1300rms of bass behind it, there not keeping up at all without pushing them and the amp really hard.. I want to avoid as little fabrication rite now so i was thinking of mounting 2 more 6.5's rite above the ***** in the center of my explorer. I tested this out with just laying them there pointing up toward the dash, and holy shi*. compared to how it usually sounds, the soundstage is sooooo much better and its much louder. Im a little confused as to which quality speakers i should put there, I have much better 6.5's in the doors which are all deadened out and sealed up. Should i leave the better speakers in the doors or not because obviously you can hear the ones above the ***** much easier. If i go through with this im only going to make a fiberglass enclosure big enough to fit the 2 6.5's. Also, why dont i see many people mounting speakers here? Just an inconvenient place?
