Situation:
i have a 2001 Chevy Tahoe. For the rears, i have Diamond M661a components. the 6.5" woofer fits in the rear doors. the factory stereo had the rear tweeters mounted in the very back rear pillar (near the trunk door). should i mount the tweeters below the woofers (in the back doors) or in the far back rear pillars (where the stock tweeters were).
a guy at a car stero install place told me to just mount the tweeters below the woofer in the rear door, he said the tweeters HAVE to be near the woofer or the sound will be all messed up. another guy at another car stereo install place says its fine to mount it in the rear, because the stock tweeters were there. where should i mount it??
