Motorized face reliability?

Do you guys think these motorized face plates on the newer head units will be reliable? I can see them gonig out after a few years of up and down. They probably aren't cheap to fix either.

I have a 7861. The face has given me no problems. For that, the whole deck is still in good shape.

My JVC and Kenwood both had motorized face and both are still in excelletn shape

The JVC i kicked the shit out of too

Ive only seen a couple problems with the lower model Kenwood decks...the D-Mask got stuck inside a couple times.
