Motor question.

I'm pretty sure this is a dumb question but I'll ask anyhow. Member and I were going to do a trade involving a AQ hd motor, I had the motor on a table in my guest room cleaning it up. I left to run up to the store and wife left the door open long story short out dogs decided to play and knocked the whole table over along with other things. Anyhow, the bottom slug is about 1/4 inch maybe little more shifted out of place and a chip out of it. Is the motor trash now ? If it is no worries. Just want to know

Can you tap it back with a rubber mallet, or did it break any bolts off?

It being shifted can be repaired
