So I would have to build the wall first and then put it on TL and just see what frequency plays the loudest? what's a 707 enclosure

No. You use a sealed box with a QTS of 707. Run a sweep to find its peak. That will get you peak of the car. Then you tune your box just below that and hope the box meets the car. trial and error

but the volume of my car will be cut in half after I wall it....

honestly... if you are going for high numbers and winning comps, invest in a monster 12 and burp it on the 4k that you have. you will dominate the lower classes with some testing and work. if you do wall you will be put in the extreme classes where people are running a lot more power and have a lot more experience... just my 2 cents.

Your cabin resonance will definitely change with wall in.

Where do they meter in your org? Port up top tends to work well if you meter at the kick. otherwise driver's side.

You should plan to tune around 55-60hz, use 20-25" port per cube of box volume. If you plan right it will be easy to add a little length to the port if you end up tuning too high. Much easier to add more port length or reduce port area, then reduce length and add port area after it's done.

alright thanks for all the input...and i just got a cadence c5 and am gonna get 2 dc m2 xl 18's and wall it in a civic coupe! should b fun...not to worried about being in a higher class i just wana see how loud i can get....comps around here rnt 2 big any way i got 3rd in supper street 1-2 with a wall that only had 2 dc lvl 4 15's on almost 3,000 watts
