most power for <$300 (new) @ 1 ohm

what do you think is the best amp for under $300?

(new if possible, i'd like it to be something i could buy a few months down the line, and not search classifieds and ebay every day)

right now i'm thinking of the hifonics bxi2006d, which is under $350 (shipped), new off ebay. and even though it's probably over-rated, i'd think it should do well over 1500W (hopefully 1800W).

the new Bxi 2006 models isnt that badly overrated, I think its a good choice for a budget amp. I know it should do at least 1,800

The ED 9.1 is around $300 (I think $350). Plus you get a three year warranty.

yeah.. the nine.1 sounds like a good choice to me, rated at 12.4 i think? so you'll get a bit more power. however its not too efficient according to their site.
