Most popular 2DIN headunits these days?

Just bought a new Jeep Wrangler and I'm looking to replace the headunit. I've been out of the audio game for a while, so I don't really know what is best anymore. Are Pioneer HU's still top of the line?

Looking for a 2 DIN touchscreen HU with Bluetooth, 3x RCA's, and preferably with XM and steering wheel control options. Any suggestions?

Budget is around $350, Nav not necessary (but possibility to add later would be nice)

I will eventually be using external amps for all speakers, so power output is negligible.

Thanks for any help.

I dont understand why the 4700 doesn't have HD radio but the 3700 does.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

That was one of my exact questions when comparing them... but to be honest I rarely listen to the radio anyway, so it doesn't bother me all that much. I'm almost always listening from a phone via bluetooth or occasionally via XM.

I don't listen to the radio either. Just always wanted to see what HD radio was all about.

If I can get some info on their 3 way setup and how good the crossovers are I might swap out my wonderful 80prs for the 3700 or 4700. I guess I will have to email pioneer.

Not a whole lot of info out on them yet, but from what I can tell, it appears to be the same crossover setup that the 80prs uses. I mean it honestly wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to sink a bunch of money in creating a new system when they have one already in the 80prs that everyone loves.

Just found these

Really wish it had dual USB though. I got spoiled having it on my 80prs. Have my phone on one and flash drive on the other.

and its $259.99 on sonic for the 2700! plus a $50 visa card and $70 service credit(whats that) ??? i think ima get them thats pretty cheap for an active capable new HU...

I've got a Pioneer avic-nex 5000. Definitely the best HU I've ever used. 25W RMS mosfet amp if you dont want to use a 4 channel, 6 5V preouts, GPS, bluetooth calling, and carplay if your into apple stuff.

watch out for that promo, its bs. That promo is only good if you add the sirius tuner with the headunit. I bought the 4700 thinking that i was gonna get the visa gift card and service. When the headunit finally got here I called sonic to ask about the cards. The rep told me that the promo was through sirius and i would have to contact them. So basically you only get the visa card if you purchase the sirius tuner. Oh and the "service card" is for 3 months free subscription to sirius.
