most bang for my buck

i beleive its a t-420 or somthing along those lines is says V power or somthing on the amp, im at work right now, ill check the model # on my lunch break, gotta measure my trunk for the enclosure of these l7's anyway

those are pretty small amps find you a good kicker 1200.1 i believe they are rated at 2 ohms ask sundownz he might have one he has taken in on trade or something equivalent...

if any1 comes across a kicker 1200 then, let me know willing to trade my current setup for it which is an old 12'' kicker cvr, and an alpine mvr t320 amp. no wiring im gonna need it for this coming system

Crash, where are you in Chicago?

As far as the question, I would go with 2 dual 4 subs and wire them down to 1 ohm and get an amp that's stable down to 1 ohm. I would actually invest in my electrical before I did any of that because you will need it.

im not gonna invest into electrical yet becuase im buying a new car soon, thats when ill invest in electrical. but anyway, i live in the suburbs, i just put chicago becuase no1 knows where Minooka IL is... and since your from il, its near joliet, closer to morris

why do u ask? free amp? lol jk

so can any1 actually answer the question of what amp i should be looking at/for, i know a kicker 1200 and im looking for one as we speak but, if some1 has another idea id wanna know

also what should i be looking to get for electrical, obviously a batt in the back which i was planning on doing anyway, but anything else?

For electrical, get some 1/0 power and ground wire, search the forums on how to do the big 3 and I would upgrade my front battery first.

If you want to get the most out of your subs, you're gonna have to spend some money on your electrical. Yeah you could throw whatever was suggested in the car and run it on shitty electrical and come back here saying you have issues with your lights dimming. Or you can go to BB and have them tell you that you need a magic "Capacitor" that will fix all of your problems. It won't.

Do it right the first time. If this is not the car you plan to really put the work into I would just wait and do it in the other car. And when you do, go buy an Audioque 1200D. The amp is 250 dollars shipped, stable down to 1 ohm and to me is the most bang for your buck. You could get that amp and use the other 100 for some better wiring for it. A Kicker 1/0 amp kit is 100 bucks on eBay.

You can buy the amp at audioque dot com. You can also read up here some of the reviews of the amp. If you're really trying to get bang for your buck, there you go.

I would definatly do the big three & look into a kinetik hc600 for an elec upgrade. As for an amp Kicker & Kicker go well together for some reason. I would look into the SX1250 you can find them on ebay & they are awsome amps.

Hit the search button on the BIG 3 it wil give you tons of imfo. yes that kicker is 1 channel you going to be wiring the 2 subs paralell/series to get a 2ohm load. look up sub wiring diagram ,you only going to need 1 channel. hope this helps
