after doing a bunch of songs on the analyzer, it makes you realize that your pretty safe using -6db test tones to set your sub amp gains.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. I haven't used adobe audition but many spectrum analyzer programs don't always consider a 0dB tone truly at 0dB.

Oh, and some guys like girls a little thick. If a girl is too thin, it's a turn off for me. And by too thin, I don't mean Ethiopia thin either.

you're talking about a 0db sine wave? or are you talking about adobe audition, not being accurate at determining what level the notes are in a song?

i use audacity to make my tones, and set them with a dmm...although i have not used audition to make sure my tones were true 0, -3, or -6db tones.

What I mean is that using the spectrum to see the amplitude of the signals of songs is not a good way of measuring their actual amplitude. Like how it says Hypnotize is at -7dB @ 40hz. If you try to boost it by 7dB, you will clip the shit out of it. I'm not saying that the tone generation is off but that the measurement of frequency amplitude is off.

i mean i have used -6 tones for subs and -3db tones for speakers the whole time and never had problems. so i kind of figured the picture i posted, backed up my way of setting gains.
