They go on sale randomly for like 80 dollars, thats when I got mine and I couldn't be more happy with my purchase. I wrote a half way decent review on them if you check out that section of the forum you will see it. hopefully it helps give you some direction.

I have an old school sony xm running to them, only about 50w to each. I would suggest running more, with my hdc3 18 on 1.2k they were still a little drowned out..

They sound **** good though.
