i have a 97 lexus LS400 and i need more volts.iam like at 13 to my cap on average.and a altnator is out because there alot of money.(lexus)and the big three is out because the power sterring pump is above the alt.so what kind i do to get to like 14.i just have a stock batt.(stock spects)its a workaholic.

#1 ~13 volts is ok.

#2 if your cars regulator is set for ~13 volts, no matter how many batteries you add you wont see 14volts. Your best bet is just to make sure you arent stressing your charging system and leave it how it is.

well when i play my system it drops to at 12.so it really is between 11-12-50 volts.but thats on a 300 watt rms amp.i just got a 2000 watt rms amp so.

the car is 9 years old. when is the last time the battery posts were cleaned? poor connections drop voltage. that would be the first place i would address. remove the battery cables and clean the posts and connectors. apply conductive grease to keep the connection oxidation free. you can also remove the other cables if your so inclined such as alternator to battery, battery to chassis. clean up those connections and apply conductive grease and reattach
