More than bass coming out of Subs?

well if you have all of the wiring harness connected from the headunit it is. i have heard about a lot of issues from running speakers through the stock amp to an aftermarket amp. ive never done it personally because i always just wired it right the first time

Yeah I get you, its pretty ghetto rigged back there. Is there any way to improve my setup with just the wiring I have? Like should I have both the speaker wire and RCA's from the HU hooked up to the amp?

I realize the complete rewiring would be optimal, but I might save that for spring as I just put in a self rebuilt ****** and bought a new engine, and its winter and the work killed me all summer.

not really, speaker wire is cheap tho. i recently picked up a spool of it off ebay for 20 bucks, was 12 awg which is overkill too. lol

i did mine during last winter, not too bad. i didnt strip everything out of my vehicle. but then again i was doing this in a single cab truck. there really isnt anything you can do to improve it other then doing it right.
