I see a question.

Unfortunately, out of his options and current subs, I've heard 1 one the kinds. The 187. And I think I can give a good example of what they're capable of. Open up your favorite p2p program (I know everyone but me has one.. ) and look up two songs: "Iced Earth - Wolf" and "In Flames - F®iend". In my setup, my 187s can take the first song like it's nothing, but have trouble keeping up with the second. In fact, the only subs I've owned that could keep up with F®iend are my Auras. [/offtopic] Seeing as I have a similar setup (3.17 cubes net @ 32hz, 400wrms per sup) you should see similar results with a little more SPL because of the larger box and higher tuning.

I am ashamed of you guys... Very ashamed. Maybe he is from a foreign country and does not know English that well, I am sure 99% of you guys wouldnt be able to type a paragraph in Spanish without making mistakes out the ***, and without using a translator.

For those interested, here is the original post cleaned up:

I have a 12" L7 in a 3.5cf box @ 35Hz, the sub is insansly loud with 800 watts going to it. It is in a 2000 Mustang. I listen to metal and rock music, but the L7 does not have good enough sound quality. My friend said he will buy my L7 for $160 and I could get two 12" subs with better SQ, but I am not sure what I should buy. So what will fit my budget, the Atlas 12, 13kv.1, IA 187, Alpine SWR 04? I have searched for a couple of days and found that all of the previously mentioned subs are great for the price. The two subs will be in a 3.5cf box tuned to 35Hz or sealed, which ever is best. They dont have to be louder than the L7, I just want more SQ.

I am ashamed of you guys... Very ashamed. :
x2, some of you people can be complete jacka$$es. Do you have no life and no friends? Does making fun of other people make you feel better about yourself? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif It's pretty sad if you ask me.

Anywayz to answer your question, I think you would be happy with either the dual type r or atlas setup. Maybe a single atlas. There's plenty of subs that will fit your needs. How much are you looking to spend?

Also I hope you don't look at the first post as a reflection of the whole site. There are many helpful folks on here that don't feel the need to be d!cks.

Its kind of hard to read, but I think I got the picture. My friend had the same situation with his car. He had a pair of 12" L7's, it was ridiculous loud but the sound quality and accuraccy sucked. He changed them out with a pair of Atlas 12" and boy does it hit loud and accurate. Way better in my opinion. By the way he was pushing them with a 1250.1 kicker amp.

I've been seeing threads about AA stuff getting damaged in recent times. After being a forum boner a few months ago, I hope this doesn't become another Hifonics BXD scenario.
