I am wanting to add 2 more sirens to my alarm.. It is an Avital 4400 and on a ford escape.. was wanting to add one inside the cab under the drivers seat and another under the hood on the opposite side.. How hard is this? Is it just splicing off the original siren and running wires to where I want the other sirens? Also where can I buy some more sirens?

Thanks

Any siren. You can get small piezo sirens at Radio Shack dirt cheap. they are very high-pitched and LOUD. Use a relay. It's very simple, so there's no reason not to.

Ok thanks for your help, what size relay?Going to run 3 extra sirens for a total of 4.
Just go with a standard 30-amp automotive relay. You should be able to get those at Radio Shack as well, or an autoparts store, car audio shop, or probably even Walmart.

I was running 12 piezos and 1 big siren inside the vehicle, and then one big siren under the hood, all off of one 30-amp relay.

I recently took out 4 of the interior piezos when I made some interior changes, but it's still deafening.
