monster garage is a joke. you take an engineer, a mig welder, a a plasma cutter and you can build any twisted hunk of car you want. but the trick to custom auto is to makeitlook good no matter how you look at it. i saw the one where they made a limo into a fire engine. looks good on the outside, sure. but how bout the inside? no fiberglass trim panels wrapped in fire engine red vinyl. ive yet to see those guys do something truley custom. granted they have a very good fabrication staff, but they dont use it. also, i love how they have that "budget" but they always manage to get 20 inch rims and someone always breaks into the garage to give it a 5000 dollar paintjob. jessie james sold out.

Well see, they only get $3000 from the Discovery Channel, then when they usually get a "Freebie" do you noice how they say "And look what Jessie found, 20" Wheels from ______ Wheels" They put there name out there so they get noticed even more. Its just like adversitizing. And the reason they dont wanna do the inside is becuase if they waste time on that, then the car will be destroyed, like the hurst (never saw that one). And also with the Paint, Tom Pruit is a friend of Jessie (paints all sorts of parts for his motercycle shop) and when he paints the vehicals, he says "We have some paint from House of Colur" After watching that show soo much that House of Colur has been stuck in my head every time I think of Paint jobs, and thats exactly what they are trying to do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

it so obvious that they work on the car after the designated time: they show that they paint it up...but you can see that extra work has been put in after.

for example, that limo with the fire hose on it. the little thing that interchanged with the sirens and the water pump was really coarsely cut and it didnt fit flush when the designated time was over...but once they came to the competition, the thing fit perfectly flush...
