Hey I have a quick question. I have a bx1000d mono amp and i'm trying to wire it to 2 Alpine DVC 4 ohm subs at 1 ohm to get its max power. The amp has 4 speaker output terminals that go + + - -. Right now I have one the positive and negative of one sub connected to the OUTSIDE positive and negative terminals of the amp, and the other sub's wires connected to the INSIDE positive and negative terminals of the amp. Is this wired correctly for one ohm or do I have to switch a positive and negative? Or should i just pull two of them and crimp them together so there are only 2 wires leaving the amp. They should just be hitting harder than they are, even though they are sealed. Maybe 16 guage speaker wire isn't enough for 1000watts? Thanks a ton in advance.
