Mono amp suggestion, please!

Will be changing my set up around, so I'm thinking of raising the power a little bit and changing out my current amp (Eclipse XA5000). It puts out 450 watts to the sub, but I think need something a little bit stronger, more in the 600-700 watt range into a 2 ohm load. It will be powering either a single JL 10w6v2 or the new GCON 10" (still undecided on them two) but either one will be in a sealed enclosure for a few months or so, until I get the money to have a ported one built. Will look at new or used, just looking for a good quality, reliable amp. Budget will be around $300-$350, lower is always better, if possible! Thanks

Nobody? Will throw one out, how about Alpine pdx-m6? May have a chance to get a Kicker zx750 for cheaps, so also thinking about that. I've had good luck with a few zx amps.

1600 @ 2 ohm but you can always turn the gain down. pm if interested

You probably won't notice much difference...if you are looking to upgrade I'd step up to the 1500 watt range and turn the gain down if need be...

That's a nice amp. I had one I believe the birth sheet stated 798 watts at 13.6v. Also I see alpine mrp m1000's all the for between 200-300 very solid amp I may have one for sale in the very near future(still undecided I've turned into a car audio hoarder)
