Mono amp...2 subs....1 or 2 chambers?

I just removed one of my subs and found that my box has a divider in the middle. Does this make sense when running off a mono amp? I thought the best method was too keep all subs running off a mono amp in the same air space? Maybe my memory is just shot:emb:

Don't separate chambers allow for phase issues or something due the potential for small variances in air space?

Yep, sorry, I should have added that.

not enough to make a noticeable difference.

you can remove as much of the divider as possible and it will increase dampening and also give you lower end extension.
