Monitors and such

Hey guys, I was wondering if I would be able to use a Kenwood KVT-815 DVD monitor without the brain unit? I have the chance to get one for a good price and was curious if I could use it without th ebrain? I want to hook up a PS2 to it for use, and I guess I could just use my PS2 as a dvd player and put in a headunit/cd player for music and radio and stuff?

thanks

definitely no. the only connection that the monitor unit has is constant power and ground, and two cord plugs for the brain. all the speakers and such are run off of the brain. not only do you need the brain, you also need the speaker harness, two long cords that run to the monitor, and last but not least the antenae extension cord. don't buy stolen stuff, it'll just promote them to go steal more and next time it may be yours...

also if it is stolen, and you end up finding the brain and all wires. you better hope they didn't enable the 4digit security password or it'll pretty much be useless.

well d on't get on my *** like I'm buying stolen stuff, I just saw an ebay auction for the monitor and wanted to know, but thanks, Iguess I'll go with just a monitor made for use without a brain.
