Those are the rally components totally inferior to the pro comps, and the 6.5's handle up to 250 watts. If ya got cash to blow go the pro's.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif it'll be the last set of comps you'll buy.

Are you sure they can handle 250RMS, I was thinking of getting that set of comps but they will only receive 50RMS, will they still sound good, I thought the 250 watts was their peak power so their nominal would be around 110 RMS. Am I wrong?

Honestly, you send 125 RMS into a set of components and I can guarantee to you that you cannot sit in that car for 1/2 an hour straight ...
Excellent point...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

go deaf with 125W rms to comps? So, what if you hooked up some JBL GTi series 6.5"s (150wrms, 600w max) in custom door pods or kick panels and powered them with a JBL 80.4 .. bridged to 160W rms x2 .. so, 320W rms to 2 sets of 6.5" comps.. too loud? i thought about 2 sets of JBL GTO series 6.5 comps (90w rated, 180W max) and used a JBL 180.2 to power them.. so, just 180W rms... whould that be too loud also?

I send a fair amount (ok, a lot) of power to my speakers because they can handle it. And plus, I dont listen to my music that loud anyway, so it doesnt matter.

9512 lol If you're in that realm of woofers, there's quite a good selection outside of those 2, but DD is a very good pick IMO.

Absolutely not!!! Acetone eats everything it touches other than metal that is.. there is a reason it comes in metal containers with metal caps...

Yup I replaced door speakers and just replaced rear speakers yesterday. What it was I had to adjust the crossovers
