Are momo subs any good? Would they be better than shivas. My cousin said he could get a good deal on them if i want.

they are great subs. just hope your not wanting an SPL sub b/c they can hit but there mainly a great SQ sub.

I would go with the Shiva's, they are a great SQPL mix at a better price than the Momo's. Don't get me wrong, the Momo's have awesome SQ, but at the cost, it's really not worth it, as previously stated they don't get loud, but they aren't weak either.

Yes they are good. They wouldn't be better than the Shiva's for SPL and money wise. SQ will be close depending on how you like the sound of the woofer but I would bet on the Shiva's.

if you know anyone that works at circuit, you can get a single momo 12" from him for 90bucks. they are like best buy that way except they can order top end alpine, polk, infinity, and MTX stuff.

my circuit city sucks the last time i've been their the best they had was mtx and it wasn't even the thunder8000 series either. the rest they had was xplod, bazooka and baja(?) they did have some nice headunits though

they don't carry any of the good stuff in there stores, but employees can order anything infinity, MTX, Polk, Alpine makes b/c they are on comission. or at least they can in austin.
