On each sub:

Connect the + on one coil to the - on the other coil.

Combine Subs:

+ +-------------+ +

( )

- - ------------ - -

Run the open + on one sub to the + on the other.

Run the open - on one sub to the - on the other.

thus you have a 1-ohm load.

You're just wiring each sub to 2-ohms then back down to 1-ohm bridged.
