mofo experience???

I heard this sub will take a lot of abuse.. I want one for pure spl.. i have an sx15 for daily sql, but i want something i can swap out and abuse with only 1200rms without worrying about blowing it daily...

any opinions on its durability? that's really the only reason i want one, would use my mofo for streat beating sx for normal listening

to go from a sx to any pa would be a serius downgrade... but yea mofos are for pure spl and have verry little sq SoOoo.. it might be what your looking for then

I disagree, i'm not getting rid of sx by any means, i would use my mofo for streat beating sx for normal listening

I agree watt for watt the SX will be louder. Also the mofo proabbly could use a larger box. The SX has a Higher sensitivity rating so the only way I see the MOFO being louder with your amp is if you build a huge box trying to boost infiency. I also have experience, the MOFO's are good budget SPL subs. The SX will dominate it in SQ and output (well, not a whole lot more).
