You could also go to a local pet store that has snakes and they can probably probe it and see if it is a male or female. Thats how i did here. I know the store owner and me and him are cool. He breeds all his own snakes and repitles. Well let me know if you have any questions.

Here is a good website i check out maybe you will like it too!:

http://www.ball-pythons.net/

It will help you out with alot of questions with mostly any snake. Hope this helps!

That Boa is absolutely amazing looking. What is the cost of the upkeep for a snake like that and what would be a good type to get so that it'll stay relatively small. I might have asked these questions before, but I've forgotten.

Sorry, but I just have never like Ball pythons.

The Boa, however, is very nice.

And tiger, they arve very cheap to keep and very easy.

You just need to find a cheap food source. If you can do that you may even be able to keep the cost under say -- $10 a month. Most likely though it would cost 15-20 a month.

i'm more of a fan of the boa than i am the ball pythons. i've owned several ball pythons before and the boas i think are cooler looking. but i got both for free so i cant complain //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

retail food price for large rats is about $7.50ish.....i feed my python every week anda half so i'm spending like 20-30ish a month, but i dont mind //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

keeping the cage clean, changing the water regularly, and make sure to handle them and keepem used to being held........thats about it, easy as hell to maintain //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
