Say you fry you amps mosfet power supplys. Is it possible replace them with a different brand? more efficient say? Or does it have to be those exact chips?

It doesn't have to be the same brand, but it has to be the same model#. Try www.mcmelectronics.com

Many companies all make the same chips so it doesnt matter as long as you have the correct part number. Just dont get any big ideas about switching out the stock fets for larger or more efficient ones unless you plan on doing beefing up the entire amp.
