Modding a viper d1200.1

so i was reading up on modding amps i know its been done with the phoenix gold xenon series and the mtx 1501d but can it be done with a viper d1200.1? I read that somehow using one of these http://www.caraudio-caralarms.com/528T.html you can "trick" the amp into representing a 0 ohm load. Any ideas?
