MODDED STETSOM 14k2d. NEED ADVICE

That just makes it more prone to DIE on startup from the massive inrush of current through the power supply to charge twice as many caps.... tisk tisk... Bad idea to put so many huge rail caps in an amp like that. I told Stetsom it was a bad idea, but what can you do when people don't listen...

some times kyle gets a real bad clip and it goes thru the subs as a pop and sounds like he blew a sub do you know why it does that. I never had the problem with my 14k but he has it happens everyone once in awhile with his. (some songs more than others)

Ron told me when i start them up to turn them on for a second, then off, then back on. but its funny though i have been running the same amp just the 1 ohm version at .5 for over a year turning it on and off in a daily driver normal and have never had a single problem. its been the most reliable amp ive owned. they are on a 12v system so maybe thats why their isnt a problem
