Current moderators should be allowed to nominate 3-5people each.
This should form a ballot, which can then be voted upon.

Those allowed to voted should be here for a minimum of 3months and 50posts, and all votes should be validated by the e-mail used in the user account.

Just a few things that SHOULD be done... but probably won't.

i love how this is the only forum(that i'm aware of) that politics for mod status. every year is the same thing. and just about every year the forum gets worse. and honestly, if your going to change mods, noah's idea of mods making the nominations is about the best. only i'd had that goob assign a permanent administator and let that person maintain the mod staff. and drop these silly elections. this is just goofy as all hell.wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

Many thanks to Preston for starting this thread. He understands that a mod discussion is always good for at least 7 pages.

I would love to see him named SOLE moderator for a trial period of say, seven days.

How much could change during such a short period?
