Mobile ES Elantra

I just used 2 rolls in the trunk and I'm using quite a bit on the floor for road noise and such.

Thanks, I'm really having a tough time with my doors now, they came completely sealed off from the factory, and it is going to be a real challenge to get in there and deaden the inside of them. Other than that, I think things are going pretty well.

My 06 Maxima was the same...the doors are completely sealed from the factory. I just ended up putting 2-3 layers of hushmat on the sheet metal directly behind the door panels, along with a deflex pad behind the midbass drivers. I think it deadened the door fairly well without doing the outer skin. But more power to ya if you decide to remove everything to deaden the inside. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yea, I was wondering if you were gonna do that. I was gonna do it myself until I saw how difficult it was... I looked it up online. Apparently you gotta start by removing the locking mechanism thing that holds the door shut? Not sure what to call that, but you need a special tool for it too.

And if you are having trouble removing the center console or something lemme know; it's a simple but very frustrating and tedious process.
