Apparently you've never doubled up on wiring before. This goes the same with speaker wire. Try it out one day.

Double up what 16ga into those 10ga terminals. I run 10ga two subs is 4 + and 4- 10ga wires with only two spots doubling up 10ga won't fit in a 10ga hole.
