ive always wondered this about my JBL amp

its a GTO 1400.1...... and its advertised as a 1 channel but it has 2 total..... whys this? when i hooked it up before i bridged to the 2 channels just so i know it was hooked up mono

Mono blocks are 1 Ch... They can still have more then one speaker terminal but it's all connected inside the amp

so its internally bridged? if thats the case does it matter how i wire to it? or was how i did it before fine? i set it up just as a mono to 2 ohms
