Yep 100. The guy didn't know what he had. He's also has a Mtx 9500 10 that he wants to sell for 50 bucks. It has a cracked cone tho so I might try to fix it

3000-3500 on music as long as you don't bottom the coil. Suspension isn't too stiff. Funny how they even think to rate an 8 layer flat wound 3" coil at 1000. I've never seen a quad coil with anything other than the silver cone.

3500 clamped power? Not a chance in hell will it take that daily. Op 1500 daily is more than fine as long as the box is designed correctly. If you go small sealed than more power will be needed.

You sure? My rd alpha has a 3 inch round wire 4 layer coil and it takes 1500 all day. I'd say this 8 layer flatwound would take over 2k at least. This is only my second tc product so i could be wrong

Oh and what's a good way to get the oxidation off of the motor? It's got a lot around the top of the motor

The nest option is a acid based cleaner like alumabrite..

That coil can handle a clean 2500 but most alignments it needs 2k tops.

Sealed 1500 is about ideal ported like 3 tuned to 30 it will take 2500..
