check out this new product i am trying out. It is a module that goes in between your alternator wire and the alternator itself and it can be programmed at the factory for whatever voltage you need. I dont know how high they can go, that info will come later on since this is still very early. Im gonna run this little product for a week and give you guys my thoughts on it then. Im sure pricing and everything will also be available.
Ok basicly, i ordered my module to be around 15.3-15.5 depending on the temprature and of course how much charge your batteries have.
anyway mine is special ordered for quad alternators but i think it will work for any configuration including stock........i may have to edit that part later im not too sure. You guys with duals that have that annoying battery indicator light, even though you have strong charge........this is your ticket! Finally after 4 long years (duals now quads) and ALWAYS having the battery light go off and on randomly, it finally stopped!
anyway, on to the pics.
this is pretty much normal voltage for my truck. 14.3-14.8
here it is....my guess is first start in the morning will be around 15.8 since its always way high when they are cold.
after it "settled down" a bit.
im no math wiz, but that extra volt translates to some decent power.....and oh boy does it slam. I mean its not WAY WAY louder, since it was already loud, but it is noticeable
so far im liking this.......
