mk2 gti or integra dc2

well....I didnt think this fit in the automotive forum, but im planing on building a wall. Most likely (2)15's. What does everyone think about vw gtis 87-92 and integras 94+? Im thinking the gti due to it being cheaper and it appears to have a bit more space. Any other suggestions. My car budget is around 3500$.

I'd go for the GTi due to the fact that it's less stolen than integras. Everyone and their mom knows how to get into a Integ.

im not really worried about theft.

im more worried about space and overall apperance.

I second the GTi for the theft reasons alone. Don't know much about them, but if this is a stereo car, I wouldn't trust an Integra...most stolen vehicles and easy to break into as stated already.

update your alarm systems and locks and it shouldn't be that easy. my 90 teg has alot of room in the hatch.im going to measure it out soon because im thinking of getting a 15" bl.

one thing I would look at too though like said above you can always add a 2 way alarm. Parts for Vw aren't cheap and parts for the teg are rather cheap in my opinion. Most of the parts off my civic is from a teg. Heck you really want to stop the worry about theft put in a alarm and hook a relay up to the fuel pump so you don't need to worry about theft and shave the door handles. Broken window maybe but 2 way alarm will have you running towrds it with the good old baseball bat if some one decided to be dumb. I am not for ether just laying that out there. Other nice thing is the teg you get a b18 in it swap the head over to a v-tec and you have a good chunk of power never drove the vw GTI to be able to tell my buddys VR6 was a fun car though. Personaly I say do it like me pick up a 5th gen civic throw integra dash in if you want throw a b18 or a B20 like me or even a H22 in it upgrade suspension to hold the weight and put a wall in it (I am going with a t-line and 2 12s) you have 19 cubes below the windows from back of the seat in the civic hatch.
